I never felt so unintentionally at a resteraunt. very disappointed should have gone to the tacoglocke.
Visited there for lunch Sunday afternoon. The lunch crowd had past, and it was quiet in the restaurant. Service was friendly and reasonably quick, although I did not get a drink refill offer. I ordered the Jalisco Feliz, which is chicken, steak and shrimp with onions and broccoli over rice with cheese sauce. The concept is great, the ingredients were very good, but the execution in the kitchen was not. The meat was thoroughly cooked in advance, consequently it was dry and overcooked in the final dish. The onions and broccoli were about halfway cooked in the final dish, and the amount of cheese sauce was lacking. Maybe I just hit them at a bad time. I'll give them another try when I happen to be over that way.
Love the one in Fayetteville but this one is very different. The drinks are good and the decor is nice. the hostess walked so fast I couldn't keep up! The salsa tastes like straight tomatoes, the pico is diced in huge chunks and my steak taco was so full of fat I couldn't chew or bite the meat. From now on I will stick to the other location
The food here is pretty good. Service is decent. The prices aren't bad. The decor is really cool here. Definitely worth a stop for lunch or dinner when your in the area!
The service was great, the food was good. Jhonathan was a very personable server. We will be going back to see him. As a southern California transplant, it is still not the same kind of food. I only include that because that is what I am looking for and I want possible other CA transplants know. It is the closest we have had so far though.
