Oishi Japanese Express - Meridian

This restaurant used to be THE place to go to, but now it’s a bit run down. I ended up getting sick after eating one of their specialty sushi rolls. Hopefully they improve because there isn’t many places around town to get good, quality sushi. Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

For what you pay it is good but it isn't worth it. We got the crunch roll and the crunch was more like sand. The steak habachi meat was more like burnt carne asada and the rice was plain. I'm really unsure why there are canned mushrooms and canned sweet carrots with habachi when you could easily add some stir fried cabbage or zucchini that actually go along with habachi. Like I said for what it is and the price it is good but it isn't anything I would eat again.
