Pizzeria Mosl - MERANO

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura solo per una pizza e una birra. La pizza è gigantesca, anche se sottile e altoatesina. il servizio era veloce e la terrazza esterna è molto piacevole. peccato per il problema di parcheggio nella zona. i prezzi sono assolutamente medi. Tornerei.

Looked all right and the menu was comprehensive but the lasagna I ordered was overcooked with little taste. My wife ordered a pizza, very big indeed but the crust was not what we expected. The extra salad we ordered was simple but good.

We were with five, including small boy. They have a nice terrace in a big garden, looks like beer garden. It's a bit out of the centre of Meran, with a lot of local guests. We had some pizzas, they are indeed huge, I had a nice tortellini and my wife knödeln with seasonal mushrooms. Quality of the food is good. As for the drinks we sticked to the nice German beer from a small German brewery they offer, they have a light and dark version. Prices are fair, staff is friendly and efficient.

I have a habit of coming back here every year i really love their pizza. When it's off season it's very nice (in season it's a bit too crowded and busy). They have excellent pizza (also Kamut pizza a different type of dough can highly recommend you try it). The atmosphere is great, food is very tasty and the service i found to be very friendly.

Following reviews and hotel recommendations we were looking forward to visiting this place. It was very close to our hotel. Casual place where one can get a good mix of local dishes and pizza. What's not to like kids will enjoy it, and we can relax after a day of touring the region. The result the food was really good as expected portions big, pizza as we like it. But the staff was not really friendly. They were nice enough to find a table for us, but only after ignoring us for a while at the entrance they looked nervous and tense and didn't really seem to care that much. We then waited to be served for quite a while, the food then came pretty fast. Smile from the staff was not on the menu. It is hard to put a finger on it but none of us really felt welcome. Only one waiter seemed friendly. We generally don't complain about the staff but something was off that night that didn't result in great service. We talked to our hotel receptionist and she was surprised so maybe this was a one off.
