Absolutely loved all the dishes I tried! must get: sizzling affenkopf Pilz, steamed black ronfish, Chinese vegetables with bambus shooting. P.s she super busy especially at weekends! the best to book.

Large affordable lunch menu. always a walk in box hill for a fast feed. the main menu can be a little expensive, but they get a good portion size for what they pay.

February 2020 This was a last minute visit and I'm glad to say the food was a lot better this time. The lo-Hun mixed veg and hot and spicy chick*n worked well together. The portion sizes were reasonably large which was just as well as prices are higher here than other similar style eateries. August 2019 Returned for dinner with a friend after 3 years or so and I didn't enjoy any of the food to be honest. Everything had quite an artificial after taste. I had sweet corn soup as a starter; the stock had an overwhelming mock ham flavour to it. The sweet and sour soy was okay, but again had the same flavour going on. My friend's black pepper mock beef dish was also very salty. Her tofu starter on the other hand had no flavour at all. I don't think I'll be back. ......... Quite a large menu with an abundance of mock meat items. Would like to see more vegetable based dishes and more freshness and flavour. The Sunday Yum Cha session is worth trying at least once as many of the choices are Vegan. Updated from previous review on 2019-08-11
