Tonari Japanese Restaurant - Melbourne

This is the best Japanese restaurant in the suburbs. We visit here every week. The service is excellent and the food is amazing. I highly recommend it. We have never had a bad dish or experience here. The quality is consistently good. You must try it!

The food was excellent and the service was top-notch at this restaurant. It has quickly become my favorite place to dine. The waitstaff is attentive and ready to help with any requests, whether it's ordering more food or needing assistance. We tried the Sashimi and sushi platter, and I was impressed with the freshness of the ingredients. It felt like I was dining in a local restaurant in Japan.

This restaurant is fantastic with exceptional service. The atmosphere is cozy and features traditional, authentic Japanese decor. These guys have come a long way since they opened! Quick dinner out for two with a light and tasty fresh tuna salad and a fabulously hearty pork katsu don with a delicious egg sauce. Great value. Yummo.

I went to Tonari with a group of 5 on Sunday night. We ordered the sashimi 20p with salmon, tuna, and whitefish, assorted tempura, fried breadcrumb oysters, fresh salmon and chicken California rolls, chicken katsu don, and salmon teriyaki. Every dish was sensation and the seafood was very fresh. The service and ambience of the place is brilliant, which makes it a great little gem in Camberwell. I highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to try Japanese.
