The service can be a bit slow when busy, but it's not too bad if you're not in a rush. The presentation and meals have a rustic, homemade vibe that I personally enjoy, but it's a different experience compared to the trendy cafes in Melbourne. The prices are a bit high for my liking, so I wouldn't highly recommend this place to everyone. However, if you're looking for a healthy, flavorful vegetarian meal, this restaurant will satisfy your cravings.
What a tremendous little spot on bustling Degraves Street. I like the seating inside and out. The inside seats are dinky little stools. Outside are decent chairs and tables in the middle of the street. Either way you get a good view of the passing parade which is typically part of the Degraves Street experience. <br/ <br/ Service was engagingly quick and pleasant here. I was greeted cheeringly immediately on arrival. My coffee arrived very shortly thereafter. The mug it came in was cute as well. I really liked it! Best of all, the coffee was a cracker. It could not be faulted.<br/ <br/ I spent a happy half hour or so here. Apart from the seat and the coffee it was fun looking at the deli stock which looked excellent.<br/ <br/ Nice place. Recommended.
Small shop on Degraves with impressive selection of sweet and savoury vegan treats. I came here for a coffee but stayed for a delicious Crumbs Bakehouse apple scroll. I also love the bakery's strawberry donut, which TOFWD also stocks. My soy flat white was good and hot like I like it. My only gripe is that I wish soy wasn't an extra cost considering it's a vegetarian and mostly vegan venue. But alas... I do recognise soy is more expensive than other milks. I don't think it was Bonsoy though (correct me if I'm wrong please), which I'm happy to pay more for. Other soys, not so much.
As someone with an autoimmune disease, I often have to follow strict organic diets. That's why I was thrilled to find this restaurant in the CBD that offers organic options. I tried their organic mixed fruit juice, made with beetroot, orange, apple, and ginger. It was freshly prepared in front of me with no additional ingredients. Although the Large cup was smaller than expected, the staff offered to add a bit more when I asked. At $9, I found it to be reasonably priced. The restaurant also offers a variety of freshly made food choices, as well as options for the pantry and fridge. Overall, a great find for those looking for organic and healthy options in the area.
Bit of a pricey place to go but they have a really sick selection of vegan foods on offer. some are a bit crazy and fun and fresh so I’ve been here heaps
