Squires Loft South Yarra - Melbourne

Incredible steaks all steaks came out exactly how we were asked and the serviettes were very generous. pork ribs were sukkulent and bbq’ed to perfection. scotch filet was also remarkably delicious. perfectly cooked, just so juicy and delicate. the carving on the meat was on the point. no need for additional sauce, but in any case try Danish blue cheese it really takes her steak to the next level!

My fiancée and I are big squires fans. they usually go to the albert park, but they were closed. we booked with south yarra and unfortunately we were disappointed. party of 4, every rib eye ordered from medium wheel to medium-welldone. not one of our steaks was cooked properly. completely over or under boiled. my fav is the green pfeffer grain sauce. had no taste and was in the round only hot sawn with a small pfeffer. the staff was friendly, but it took over an hour until the food came out.

I'd been wanting to go to Squires Loft for quite some time. However, my experience was a little disappointing. Firstly, we booked for Saturday night. We were about 15 minutes early and were hoping we could just sit somewhere and wait, but there was nowhere at all to sit which was kind of strange because there was literally nowhere comfortable to stand either. So they just told us to come back in 15mins and were quite unfriendly about it. They also didn't even advise where we could go nearby to get a drink or anything first.
