Squires Loft Albert Park - Melbourne

Held our staff Christmas lunch here, nominated by one of the staff to go there based on love of steak.Staff were friendly but a little run off their feet. I chose the rib eye steak (medium rare). Sign of a good steak restaurant to me - no need for any source over the steak. I asked for mushroom sauce on the side, which was provided in a little pot. But tasting the steak - it needed the sauce, which for me is slightly disappointing.

We visited here with a party of four in mid May 2013. My wife had the tiger prawns, I had baby back ribs, and our friends had rib-eye steak with chips.The food was absolutely fantastic, and with a $50 discount from the 'Entertainment Book', the meal didn't break the bank. The ambiance and service were excellent, but be aware that you really should book a table in advance, and when the restaurant gets busy, you can expect relatively long wait times for your food.I highly recommend this restaurant if you love meat, but the vegetarian menu may be spartan, especially if you don't eat prawns.

I'm not a fan of ribs, until I visit this place! Ribs and steaks are to die for! Excellent flavor and cooked to perfection, we often recommend and make time for a re visit.

Went to the grill room on Friday night , the best steak in Melbourne . The meal was world class . The prices was very good . The services was excellent . I highly recommend , it's a place for a great meal . I will be returning in the near future.

Great simple menu with the focus on meat, great steak and reasonable price. Service was friendly and atmosphere was good (lunch time) I would go back for sure, and make sure you grab a handful of lollies on the way out
