Went into Soda Rock dor their 4th of July celebrations.Les sure knows how to put on a party!Elvis tribute band was in full swing amd setting the vibe, happy staff were all dressed up in costumes and looked after you like you were part of the family and also food thats just to die for!Its this combination that keeps me coming back. Hands down best food and service in Melbourne!
I liked this place. It has a great atmosphere, good service, the 1950s diner feel is fun and the staff being on roller skates gives it an added novelty value. The hot dog was surprisingly juicy and full of flavour, the chips weren't anything to write home about but were fine for the price and did come with chicken salt seasoning. It's cheap food and a fun place to go for a change.
Cute atmosphere, roller skating waitress a bit of fun but I would never go back. Food was slow to come out even when very few people were in the restaurant. The chilli dog was pretty average. Hotdog skin was so tough I could hardly cut through it, cheese not the right kind for the hotdog and way too many onions. When I was ready to leave I stood at the till for ages while the two people stood by having a chat. They took a long, long time to even acknowledge me, I'm never happy whenI have to wait to pay the bill. The restaurant is trying to be like Johnny Rockets in the US, unfortunately it doesn't come close. Disappointed in my visit.
Fun retro American themed burger joint. Great atmosphere and good service on roller skates. The burgers are decent but not exactly gourmet or hipster approved. The shakes are great and my teen kids love this place and always want to go when in town.
