Purple Peanuts Japanese Cafe

Good for a quick bite to eat if you're tired. Funky. Small amount of places to actually eat, but found it filling and value for money.

We called in here for a late lunch after we got off our train and booked into our hotel around the corner-we only had a couple of sushi rolls each, but thoroughly enjoyed them and appreciated the very friendly service. Other diners meals looked good, we'll be back!

This place had an epic pork dish. It was so tasty. the salads also looked delicous. And it's so easy to get to Southern Cross station, that you could pick up something takeaway and then eat it on a train to the country or wherever. Yummy yummy yummy And the service was great too.

I usually get the Akio salmon sashimi or tsuke don. It's a twist/fusion on Japanese meals. Sooo delicious. Always fresh ingredients. Never disappointed. Service is fast and always busy at lunch time.

Go there often for a healthy lunch; must be there early before the crowds get there. Meals are fresh, value for money
