MoVida Next Door - Melbourne

There is definitely a good reason why Movida is the iconic top supplier for Spanish cuisine in Melbourne, each item from food to service is error-free. We decided to make a visit to the original restaurant in the famous Hosier Lane, one of their many restaurants they opened since 2003. The menu is a seasonal mix of tapas, parts of plates and always changing specialties, with the aim of bringing an experience of culture and fun. We ordered a few things from each section of the menu and made sure we left room for dessert. The beverage menu consisted mainly of wine and beer. Each court had to salivate us and ask why the hell we had not visited earlier, with the Octopus and Empanadillas the exits of the night. What also impressed us was how covered and yet efficient the staff was, sometimes, when restaurants become too popular they are at the end sinking level of service this is not the case here. We felt very welcome and cannot wait to try more from their restaurants. 5/5

Beautiful tapas and a cozy ambience with excellent service!

Went for dinner and asked for the selection of tapas. Although all tapas were very delicious, our absolute favorites were swordfish, juniper and anchovy. Service was impeccable and atmosphere great. The only problem is that this London restaurant is not available! I love it!

It’s always an awesome experience at MoVida. The flavours are clean and well executed. The signature anchovy with tomato sorbet is a must. The ‘05 Albariño was absolutely delicious and drinking impeccably
