Moroccan Soup Bar - Melbourne

I am not a vegetarian but after eating at the MSK it has become a favourite food experience. This unassuming little place has a lovely gentle spirit and it feels good just being there ! The staff are just lovely and the spoken menu is a great touch. Food wise it is amazing value but that is actually incidental to the fact that everything you eat is delicious ! The fact that it also happens to be good for you is an added bonus. Also the fact that nothing had to die to make it all happen is also pretty cool. It is very busy so just be prepared to enjoy a lot of people very very close by. Eating here actually made me happy and yes I will be back to feed my soul another time !

This is one of the more unique dining experiences I've had recently, mainly because there isn't a written menu and is communicated via the wait staff. The main choice for dinner is essentially a banquet meal, and to this day I'm not entirely sure what I ate. Either way, the food was very fresh and prepared with a lot of care. The staff were very kind, and shared some great philosophical wisdom with our table which made the visit feel more personal. Would gladly visit again.

We were all so impressed. $30 per person for the full banquet, everyone was full and they suggest taking containers for left overs to take home. No alcohol service or byo but it really wasn't an issue as the focus was all on the food.

I came here with a work colleague and was very impressed. We had to wait for a table but it was worth it. There are only 2 menu options, and it is a spoken menu, detailed by the wait staff. we enjoyed the more comprehensive option of various Moroccan foods with dips and breads, and traditional sweets to finish. Highly recommended.
