Milk the Cow - Melbourne

I came here with some girl friends the other week and we had an amazing time. The staff is very knowledgable about cheese and the pairing drink. It was a lot of fun catching up and trying new things. It's a perfect spot for a date with beau or your best friends.

Really loved our visit to Milk the Cow! We enjoyed the cheese and wine board (4 cheese and 4 wine pairings for $36). The staff were really lovely and explained the pairings well. Really nice atmosphere as well. Would highly recommend.

This was our second time returning the Milk the Cow. Staff were friendly, knowledgable and on the ball. We shared the two kinds of cheese and wine flights as well as the baked camembert which was served in a hotpot to prevent it from setting! Couldn't have asked for a better afternoon!

This place is a must for cheese lovers! We started with the french onion soup which was delicious. The baked brie was simply divine. We finished with the four cheese board served with quince paste and a couple of sides. It was fabulous!The welcome drink (mulled wine) was a lovely gesture and tasted so good we all ordered a cup.Very reasonably priced. Our bill ended up $30.50 per head (There was four of us).They do not take bookings but you put your name down on a waiting list and they give you a call when a table is ready.

The gluwein upon arrival was very nice, the table laid out with cheese boards and a wine to match the cheese and the fondue was excellent! Our waiter who enthusiasticly told us the story of the origin of the fondue, was from the French Alps! A fantasic fondue, and time had by all.
