Mama's Buoi - Melbourne

I discovered this restaurant during my trip to Melbourne. The food we had was delicious and the service was excellent, although the prices were a bit high for my liking. The server was incredibly energetic and friendly, reminding me of the Duracell Bunny as she attended to our allergen dietary requirements. We would give this place a 5-star rating for her exceptional service. The Freshly Rolled Rice Paper Rolls were generously sized and served with a tasty dipping sauce, which we ended up using on our salad as well. The Vermicelli Noodle Salad was made with fresh ingredients and just the right amount of dressing to enhance the flavors. We enjoyed using the dipping sauce on the salad, not because it lacked flavor but because it was so delicious. I would definitely return to this restaurant if given the opportunity.

Quirky hawker style set up in postal lane. Great atmosphere for eating out. Good service. Ordered share plate for 2 pax. Good food.

Absolutely fantastic dinner! I had been in Sydney before and loved it so I took my friend here on our trip to Melbourne and she said it was the best meal she'd had in a while! The atmosphere is great, lane way feel with lights and shabby chic style.

This restaurant is a great place to grab a quick meal. The atmosphere of sitting in the alleyway made me feel like I was in Europe. The food was delicious and the beer selection was good. However, the staff seemed unenthusiastic. It could have been a bad night or a personal issue, but it appeared like they did not want to be there.
