However, the paprika lacked the usual kick and overall flavor I am accustomed to. The pizzas were large, but on the pricier side compared to other places.
This cozy hipster bar on Carlton Street serves Italian dishes, with a focus on delicious pizzas. There are indoor and outdoor seating options available. The pepperoni pizza is loaded with toppings and has a soft, chewy crust. It's a great spot to hang out, although parking can be tricky to find.
We ordered a delicious vegetarian pizza with a perfect crust and two salads. The broccolini salad was so cheesy that it almost felt like a cheese dish, which as a cheese lover, I thoroughly enjoyed. The restaurant also had a great selection of tap beers, and I opted for the house lager, which was reasonably priced and full of flavor. The cocktail menu was intriguing, including an orange wine that the waitress recommended and turned out to be a fantastic choice. This place offers a versatile dining experience, whether you're looking to casually drop in for drinks and pizza or host a formal dinner party. I appreciate the flexibility that this restaurant provides, something that seems to be lacking in other establishments in Melbourne. I definitely plan on returning to try their pasta and more cocktails, as well as to soak in the charming aesthetic of Leonardo's decor.
I had an unexpected surprise at this restaurant. It's a hidden gem off Lygon Street with attractive neon lighting. The music and indie vibe were a bit odd when I walked in, and the service wasn't great at first. However, once I was seated in the beautiful intimate dining area, the service improved. The pizza was outstanding, and I usually don't enjoy many pizza places. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend it!
Absolutely worth the wait! My friend and I had attempted to visit this restaurant before, but we underestimated the popularity of the place. We were too hungry to wait the last time. This time we were wise and made a reservation. I adored the beautiful artwork on the walls. The cheese pizza was reminiscent of New York. I will definitely be returning.
