We initially considered the set menu, but the waitress advised us against it, as it would require a huge appetite. Instead, we opted for a meat platter (The Smokers Lot) and two sides. The meat was incredibly delicious, the beetroot salad was a standout dish, and the chips were the perfect accompaniment. The restaurant had a great atmosphere, the food was excellent, and the service was top-notch. It's definitely a special treat to be enjoyed on a special occasion. In total, we spent just over $100 for dinner and three drinks, which we thought was good value for the quality of the meal.
Having walked past for many years it was good to actually go inside for a meal. Not open for Monday lunch which is our usual day to have a staff lunch.Food was great. Only a minor comment I had booked for 5 in advance, we were the only patrons in the place for quite some time and we had been allocated a small table for 4 with a chair on the end when larger tables were obviously available. When I asked for a change of table we were moved to the end of a large one without any problems.
Fun venue to experience the food of the South. Great staff, quick service. A little noisy but that's part of the ambience
