This is the original La P and by far the best. The chain gets a bad rap but I actually quite rate it for budget friendly Italian although I imagine some of the branches are better then others. On this occasion my BBQ chicken was delectable. They make it just the way I like sans onions and mushrooms and the delicious sweetness of the BBQ sauce and pineapple appeals to my dessert inclined palette. The garlic focaccia is a great sharing starter too
I give a rate 4 for their gelato. It's yum, generous, and cheap. 2 scoops for only $4 to take away (different price if you have it for dine in) .. If you go around this place, don't miss it! <br/ <br/ <br/ <br/ <br/ <br/
Most times it's good and sometimes it's not. Food seems to be cooked too fast and often is not quite cooked. Pizzas can be really good but seems to vary upon who's making them, missing ingredients etc. Staff are friendly but some are untrained, beer served without glasses, cutlery without plates. You have to ask for coffee to be hot otherwise it is served lukewarm. Serves are generous. Parking is OK
This is one of my favorite restaurants, and the original and best La Porchetta. Rocky, the owner's father, was one of the most successful restaurateurs I've ever met. He had a strong focus on customer service and provided great value for money. The quality of the food was excellent, and his daughter continues the tradition. Kids can usually color in while waiting. The gelati from this place is fantastic, and I used to stop here on long drives just for it. It's perfect for lunch and dinner after work. Weekends can get very busy for dinner. Parking is usually good most of the time.
