La Parisienne Pâtés - Melbourne

Very nice authentic frence gourmet deli. The food is varied, beautifully presented and delicious. The staff are French and knowledgeable about the product. Well worth a visit.

Stumbled across this wonderful little place only yesterday on our way to the Nova cinema.What a find it was for us.My partner had the Duck Pate baguette, and I had the Quiche Lorraine.The Quiche Lorraine was delicious as it was so thick and creamy and appeared to have lardons in it, which enhanced the flavour even more.The pastry was perfect. I would not usually choose to have this dish but I am so pleased I did.My partner enjoyed his baguette.There were many other dishes to choose from, and all the other customers seemed to be enjoying their meals.The service was excellent, and the French accents just added to the experience.The food is a nice change from all the Italian eateries surrounding it.I would highly recommend a visit if you have not already been.We certainly want to re-visit when we are next in Carlton

A trip to Carlton for lunch is usually a trip down the student memory lane. La Parisienne changed all that. From the delicious strawberry and cream French accent of the delightful staff, the great food and the selection of Charcuterie available for purchase in the fridges this feels like Paris.The ambience, food and good wine will take you back, its hard to leave, when you do, like your first trip to Paris you will long to return even before you leave.

Fond this lovely café, had a long time to sit two cappuccinos, a fresh Almond Croissant and plenty of glossy French magazines. Very comfortable, spacious plenty of French accents, next visit will test out lunch. Did not know what Charcuterie meant, and one waitress explained it means sausages, or whatever they specialise in. Not my kind of food, but I will sure try other delicacies when I return. The important thing is that the coffee was very good. The staff all were very happy professional and couldn't be more helpful, with waitresses asking me how I was enjoying the experience. Don't get that often. I felt so appreciated as a customer. I watched the owners children come in and they all had a great time.The place just oozes friendliness, family, happy caring staff, and great food. Its got all the right vibes and no pretentious trendy staff. Makes me want to book a trip to Paris again. Merci Beaucoup.
