No one would think a chicken parma in a korean restaurant will be a good idea, but this restaurant has proven me wrong! It was really special in its own way, and very delicious. Even my australian boyfriend agreed (tho he said the ones from pubs are still better .<br/ <br/ Their beef bulgogi set was really nice and filling as well. Other than that, during lunch time they gave away self-serve soups. I’d definitely be back for more when I crave some korean lunch dishes.
The restaurant is small, so I would recommend making a reservation if you are dining with a group. During my first visit, I tried the Samgye Tang with Kalguksu (Ginseng Chicken) and found the ginseng flavor to be mild but enjoyable, with generous portions. On my second visit, my friends and I ordered the Pork Kimchi Soup with rice and shared the Kimchi Pancake. The soup was delicious with plenty of kimchi and tender pork, although it was a bit salty. The rice had black rice mixed in, giving it a purple color. The kimchi pancake was flavorful and served in a large portion, with a thick batter and generous filling.
Best seafood pancake in the world. Fish flakes, crispy, scallops, shrimp, corn, squid.Ginseng chicken also fantastic. Rice cake, soft bone, soft chicken, flavourful.Must go again as this is exceptional.
These dumplings are the best I've ever had. They even made a special cold noodle soup for me, even though it's not on the winter menu. The staff here is incredibly friendly, especially the nice girl who served me. This is definitely the best cold noodle soup I've ever tasted.
