Hoit Yim Chinese Restaurant - Melbourne

I highly recommend ordering takeout from this restaurant. It's the best Chinese food I've ever had and my family's favorite go-to restaurant. The salt and pepper dishes, especially the calamari, are the best in Melbourne hands down. When paired with sides, appetizers, and fried rice, you can't go wrong. The staff is welcoming and provides excellent service, offering fast delivery at a reasonable price. Most importantly, the food is delicious and fresh!

I've always ordered home delivery and I can't look for a reason to complain.  The food is excellent compared to what I've tried in the area.  Well worth trying

If you're looking for affordable and delicious Chinese food, this is the perfect spot! This no-frills restaurant doesn't try to be fancy, and that's what makes it stand out. We ordered spring rolls, special fried rice, Mongolian beef, and chili honey chicken in batter, and all the dishes were fantastic! My only complaint is that I wished there was more chili in the honey chicken. The restaurant is also BYO, which is a bonus. I will definitely be coming back again!

The food was spectacular, so much so that the waiter even shared a meal with me. I would definitely come back to eat here again. The honey chicken was outstanding, and the fried rice was delicious. The atmosphere was also very cozy and inviting.

Having been a local for some years this place has improved tremendously in the last year. The restaurant was fitted out in the early '90s so it has that old school charm. Prices are cheap, serves are big and the food is fresh. Perfect local for dinning in or taking away.
