Flavours were great. The calamari and zucchini fritters were super oily and the texture of the chips weren't great but everything else was delicious. The grilled chicken was really tender and full of flavour. The dips were a highlight too, my favourite was the eggplant Fantastic service!
On a recent impromptu dinner outing, we tried Chin Chin but ended up at Gazi due to a long wait. The Greek food at Gazi never disappoints, with flavorful meat dishes and must-try chips topped with feta. Make sure to finish your meal with honey Nutella doughnuts or loukoumades. We took some international visitors to Gazi and started with the three dip and pita platter. The bombe dessert looked tempting, but we were too full from the souvas. Gazi offers delicious street food in a modern setting with a terracotta roof. Gazi is one of my favorite restaurants in Melbourne, and definitely my top choice for Greek cuisine. The bread and dips are a must-try, with soft dough and delicious flavors. The chicken and lamb souvas are also highly recommended. Make sure to book in advance or opt for takeaway if you can't finish your meal.
This is the best Greek food I have ever tasted...although it's a little pricey. I will definitely be returning.
