! Peppe is an incredible family-owned and operated Italian restaurant. Having traveled throughout Italy, I can confidently say that this little restaurant is the closest thing to a small, authentic Italian eatery that you can find in Melbourne. The staff's hospitality and friendliness are unmatched. The prices for meals are reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food, and the menu is flexible, accommodating those with dietary restrictions or allergies. It's a wonderful place to spend an afternoon or evening. After my first visit, I can say with certainty that this will be my new go-to restaurant.

We had lunch at this restaurant and I must say that the food was not disappointing. The grilled salmon, risotto, and chicken parmigiana were perfectly cooked and incredibly delicious. I highly recommend this place. Giovanni, the waiter, added the perfect touch to this relaxed restaurant. We will definitely be returning.

We poured on the road around 400 gradi a few nights before we came to the peppe, stared through the window in the cozy looking trattoria. the service was very good and the atmosphere warm and welcoming (especially from the funny and amusing FOH head every waiter who sits to chat with their customers offers service for the love of him.) great portions, toasty and delicious pizza. very good!

This is hands down the best Italian restaurant I have ever been to in Australia. We started with the bruschetta, which was high quality and delicious. The bread was perfectly toasted and the tomatoes were fresh and flavorful. I ordered the marinara while my partner had the tortelloni, and both dishes were incredible. The homemade pasta was cooked to perfection and the sauces were to die for. Our waiter was entertaining and clearly passionate about the food. We will definitely be regulars at this restaurant when we are in Melbourne. Well done!
