Curry Masala Northcote - Melbourne

This place may not pack out every night of the week, but it has a solid core of local fans.

It's probably a hangover from my days spent living just a stone's throw away from London's famed Brick Lane but I have an - apparently misguided -

I've been here a lot, for both take away and dine in, with people, people, and as many as people. The food is always delicious. The service is never great but that doesn't really matter when the food is so good. The...restaurant always looks empty but don't let that fool you – it's really worth dining here. The best Indian in Northcote in my opinion. I'm a repeat customer. Highly recommended

Read some below average reviews but decided to chance it anyway. Tell ya what, we'll be coming back. Great curries, decent portions and well prices. No, corkage fee. Cheers

It's always worrying when there are no customers in the house. Nevertheless, we order two curries and rice. Pretty inexpensive at The curries were "ok", not great. I wasn't inspired to really tuck in and left about half the meal in the container. I...wouldn't say it was bad, just that there are much better Indian take away and restaurants in the area
