I'm a local resident.And we are privileged in Ivanhoe to have many good cafes and restaurants. I was disappointed at the quality of the food today. The poached eggs in the eggs Benedict were poorly cooked. It's ok for he yolk to be somewhat runny however the egg white in this instance was runny and transparent and clearly still needing further cooking. The yolk was also similarly essentially uncooked. The coffees were good. It was disappointing that despite the poorly cooked meals that we were charged (albeit half price) for meals which were largely uneaten.

WE had brunch at this lovely little cafe last week. The brunch dish I had was potato & quinoa blinis which had advocate, smoked salmon and poached egg. My daughter had the bruschetta 3 ways which was also great.I am not a coffee fan but my friend who is says it has some of the best coffee in Melbourne.Well worth a visit and it is next to a Woolworths, so park there, do some shopping then drop in for brunch.

Lovely, friendly, buzzing atmosphere with good coffee to-boot! The staff were just delightful and happy to accommodate requests.
