From outside it really looks down, but as soon as they go in its extremely modern. drinks are similar to other places, but eating was amazing, it was between 5$10 and the portion sizes were quite large for what they calculate.
So hip that they feel almost out of place if they do not have enough piercings and/or tattoos. lol decor, music, service are all aligned to the 20 somewhat quantity. sitting is retro and somewhat unpleasant/hard. many tables for food service in the ground floor. they have no more. eat in the top floor on roof deck or lounge. do not expect too much attention from waiting staff. they bring food and put it on the table, they clear and make a flash quickly wipe, so table tops and menus can be a bit sticky / wet. everything else is self-service at the bar order to eat, water, drinks, etc. Bar employees can be helpful if not overflow with patrons. they have a large selection of plate pizzas with many vegetarian choices and three sweet / desserts. there are also vegan options. otherwise they have arranged a small selection to others. the people seem to go to bimbo for their pizzas and when they go to certain times, the pizzas are $4 or $5 per! Yes, they just cleaned them out and they're throwing them out. our last visit was about 1.5 years ago and we were quite satisfied with the pizzas. this time we were less happy because they seem with a (pre-sale? flat brot base instead of actually pizza dough or at least what it saw and tasted. that could be to confirm the big volumes in their happy hour management. at least the new basic doesn't taste as good as it used to. that said the toppings were a bit haphazard and uneven as well. again we had the feeling that the place now provides so large quantities that the kitchen has lost her mojo a bit. we would like to rate the 2 stars for food quality and presentation, and 4 stars for a hip joint. So we have three stars. the place you're hanging around and maybe grab a pizza if you stay. not really a place to eat.
I was twice in bimbos and the first time was a great night with good music and the best atmosphere! the second (Friday night) was quite poor, the music was quite terrible - the dj looked like she didn't want to be there and. most time to look at her phone. also the outside area on the top floor was closed, which is a great place for chat with friends. it was also ridiculously hot, so I stood at the aircon most night. the only saving gnade in this night were the bar staff who are always chatting and friendly! if that were my first time in bimbos, I would not have gone back, but since I know that there can be a sick night, I will give it a chance in the future! So: I would also advise to bring cash as if its 2 items minimum on card
Good cheap pizzas, you might need a couple if you're pretty hungry! Rooftop is great, especially on a warm night.
