Balderdash Cafe - Melbourne

I decided to try out this cafe on a whim today, as I work nearby and was craving a reuben sandwich. Luckily, Balderdash serves a delicious one that I thoroughly enjoyed! I also tried their soy mocha, which was very tasty. The atmosphere is light and relaxed, and the service staff are incredibly friendly. I had a brief chat with the owner, Viv, while paying the bill and she was lovely. It's clear that she is passionate about making this cafe the best it can be, especially since taking it over from the previous owner last year. This was my first visit here, but it definitely won't be my last. I look forward to returning soon and trying out more items from the menu.

Went to Balderdash the morning after I landed in Melbourne—perfect place to get back into the brunch lifestyle! Best coffee and best chai (also one of the few places that actually does an iced chai). Food is delicious, satisfying and fairly priced. The owners are lovely and make everyone feel at home! Definitely a favourite.

I was greet by a really pleasant staff member. I felt really comfortable and the coffee came out quickly and tasted beautiful. If your in Port Melbourne definitely worth visiting here . Coffee was reasonable priced as well.

Friendly service. A bit too prompt actually (sometimes taking the plates before we had swallowed the last bite). The poached eggs were a bit runny but otherwise tasty.
