Elena's Wine - McMinneville

Wine in steel kegs? Yeah, we figured give it a try. Ick. So much good wine to choose from in the area but this is not it. Charcuterie board acceptable but uninspiring. Nice enough place to sit with friends but if you're after good wine this is not the place.

This place is a must if you're doing wine tasting in McMinville! Part wine bar part art gallery, Elena's really stands apart from other wine bars in the area (and even from places in the Portland metro area). Brooke is so friendly and is the perfect mix of attentive and letting you enjoy yourself. The owner happened to be there the night we were there and was kind enough to tell us more about the artists they feature in the gallery. The decor is gorgeous. Think velvet and gold and low lighting and cozy fireplace vibes. This is the perfect spot for a girls' night or to take a date. This place will be a regular spot for me when I'm down there!

Brooke is awesome!! Great wine selections and charcuterie! Jacob was fantastic and a pleasure to guide us through our wines Cool art gallery as well. We loved the Wednesday charity soup night!! Hope it comes back soon.

The host, I believe his name was Jay, was the absolute best. He was very cordial and attentive and the wine was excellent. Besides, what's not to love about a place named after a Russian spy!

What amazing interior design, and such a wide menu selection of wine and other beverages. Really enjoyed my visit and will be back!
