New China - McHenry

New porcelain is our go-to Chinese food restaurant in mchenry district. Food is always excellent, fast and affordable!

This is the pepper steak. Ate around the ridiculous amount of vegetables. Maybe 1/10 of this meal was actually the steak, and that's being optimistic about the proportions. The chicken fried rice was extremely bland along with the rest of my meal. Used to be my go to Chinese restaurant but seems like it has changed for the worse.

Not bad at all. Great price and great food. I ordered general tso's chicken and sweet and sour chicken dinners. I like how they put the sweet and sour sauce on the side. They also let us substitute the pork fried rice for lol mein noodles. The general tso's chicken is good, but it wasn't spicey. Next time I order it I will inquire about making it spicier. I was surprised to walk in. I would design it to be much more attractive and welcoming customers. It doesn't look good! The food was ready in 15 minutes. Not happy, the food wasn't good. Very bland. I'm not going back.
