Hometown, downtown McHenery Only a good old-fashioned family Diner has heard since 1968 Mom Shirley started it in 1968 and daughter Terry keeps it on. I had the Big French Chef Eggs, Speck, Sausage Links, Hash Browns and French Toast. Extra French toast hashbrown for extra French toast. Thank you Terry and family for an excellent downtown McHenry experience!

We had only the Hamburger Steak mushrooms grilled onion potato and soup and my wife had the chicken equivalent and it was delicious, apparently it is a Monday dish, every Monday.

Love this place! Fabulous food at affordable prices! That's not a Brittish Diner, totally American. They're not closing at 4:00.

Best Biscuits and Gravy I had in time, and the bacon was crispy... to start a Monday morning.
