Green Peapod Thai - McHenry

Green Peapod is easily the best Thai place we have found in McHenry County. I have never had a bad meal from there. Pad See Ew is my favorite dish and they also have fantastic crab rangoon (and I'm not even the biggest crab rangoon fan). Definitely a spot to try!

We showed up without reservations with a group of 12. The service was the best. It's a lot to keep that many orders straight, but our server did a wonderful job. Most of us never had Thia food before, and with the servers' help, she steered all of us with the best dishes for us. I don't think you can go wrong on any dish you ordered. We were not rushed after our meal to leave. It was very relaxing here. We do plan on going back, but with smaller groups. Our family has been trying different restaurants in McHenry County once a month, and our groups are anywhere from 8 to 14 people.

Best Thai food in the Chicagoland area, let alone McHenry.

2nd time that ive had a 2 1/2 hour wait for delivery even with poor weather conditions thats just unacceptable especially for Mediocre food at best do yourself a favor and get the same food faster at a better price elsewhere
