Whataburger - McAllen

The tall 38-year-old cashier gives me the creeps, and the manager constantly chases away homeless people (not very Christian behavior). However, the food and chefs here are excellent! Definitely promote the guy on the grill - he's incredibly friendly to both his co-workers and customers. One small downside is that the manager seems a bit stinky.

I have to say that yesterday I had the worst experience with the fries and the driest burger I have ever had in my life. I do not recommend the peppered chicken sandwich due to its dryness. However, everyone else at the table got their meal correct. Overall, the restaurant was not the best.

I have never waited over 45 minutes for a meal at any Whataburger location before! The fries did not taste fresh, my son-in-law found a hair in his food, and my burger was not made correctly as I requested. Despite these issues, we did not complain, but our order took a while to arrive. We usually visit the Whataburger on Ridge Rd in Pharr and will continue to do so in the future. I will not be returning to this location after this negative experience.

I've really come to love Whataburger especially since I came from California and told that whataburger was the Texas equivalent. I really love the customization of your order,for its one of the best things about whataburger

Just got home from picking up food from this Whataburger . I love Whataburger but i love it even more when my burger comes with its burger meat. Yeah, I ordered a #5 and it had no meat in it, they gave a a BLT. $53 I spent tonight on dinner here for my family. This is not the first time this happened to my burger. They?ve also once didn?t put ANY chicken strips in my 3 pc chicken strip meal. So check ALL your food before you leave this place, Or go to another Whataburger.
