Pollo Palenque - McAllen

I have eaten here two nights in a row! The chicken is moist and the best roasted/grilled chicken I have ever had. I adore the rice and the service is exceptional! If I could, I would give this place 6 stars. The price is great, the food is fresh, and the store is very clean! It is an excellent value for your money and I would happily pay more for the incredible food they serve here! I absolutely love this place!

The service at this restaurant is quick, the food is authentic, and the prices are fair. Carlos, the host, goes above and beyond to ensure customers are taken care of. Customers won't need to spend money elsewhere when they can get the best here. The only thing missing is frozen margaritas on the menu.

The food at this restaurant is excellent. The staff can be a bit cranky at times due to how busy they get, but they truly deserve recognition for their hard work. The delicious food definitely makes up for any attitude they may have. It reminds me of that Seinfeld episode with the soup Nazi.
