Yum Yum Donuts - Maywood

The staff was friendly, but the donuts were stale. I recommend asking if they have any fresh options available, as mine tasted like old shoe leather.

I had a disappointing experience with the customer service at this restaurant. The woman in charge asked everyone to pay after their food was prepared, but for some reason, she insisted that I pay upfront. She implied that she didn't want to make my food for free, questioning my ability to pay. This was frustrating, especially as I was on my way to work, and it really put me in a bad mood to start my day. I hope they can improve their customer service in the future.

I ordered a donut and a bagel, and while I was waiting, I noticed the guy in the back dipping the donuts in frosting and sprinkles without wearing any gloves—just using his bare hands. After he dipped a few donuts in chocolate, one of them had frosting dripping off the side, so he simply ran his finger around the edge to clean it up. I definitely threw my donut in the trash.
