Crazy Katsu - Matina

Crazy Katsu- yet another classic in the now-famous foodie haven that is Lilac, Marikina! It's one of the first restaurants in the area- and despite the fact that the place is currently booming with competition, it being able to still stand there strong and mighty is proof of its renowned quality. Must-tries are of course their flagship Chicken Katsu (P155), but I also find their Katsudon (P155) and Sukiyaki (P198) very appetizing and belly-filling. Their Miso Soup (P30) and Gyoza (P130) are also nice additions to your main meal. I don't know what sorcery they conjured up to make their Chicken Katsu sauce really delicious, but it's already been years and I never get tired of it! I looooove their Chicken Katsu. Perfect cause it's so crunchy and I love it cause it's a bit spicy. I love the sauce paired with the shredded cabbage. This is actually all I order every time and I haven't tried anything else yet.

Me and my boyfriend always eat here! They have great food with very affordable prices. I highly recommend this place. Their Chicken Katsu and Katsu Salas is a must try.

A friend brought me here and I loved the food! I ordered the chicken katsu and loved it! The rice that came with it was cooked just right. The chicken was fried perfectly, not overcooked and not oily. Will definitely go back!
