Casello 75 - MATERA

I am a little disappointed by this restaurant, the service was ok but I had the impression to be looted when the waitress bring us two T-bones of 1.1 kg, one for two people would have been enough, of course ,the bill was huge as the piece of meat.

We heard about this place from our Guest House staff. When recommended by locals it's usually a good idea to use their suggestion. The place is really nice for a pizzeria, they serve other things as well, but the main attraction is the pizza. We had totally awesome cheese plate for starters. It was just divine. For mains we ordered tuna and sausage pizzzas. Both were delicious, I really liked the way they had made the sausage pizza. In the sausage pizza there was cool (was not in the oven) cherry tomatoes and buffalo mozzarella pieces on top, so gooooood! Casello 75 was a really great experience and would definetly visit again. Also the prices were really reasonable.

Beautiful, modern, light, airy decor, very stylish. Loved the light shades and atmospheric background music. Pleasant, helpful staff and excellent food washed down with good local wine off a selective wine list. Unusual location not far from the sassi. Highly recommended.

Nice local and competent staff. Menù with many courses but with high prices.
