Dks Burger - Matamata

Stopped here to grab a quick bite after Hobbiton. Delicious steak and bacon burger. Great service!

Honestly the Best Fish Chips we've had anywhere in New Zealand� amazing burgers too, all fresh ingredients. If your going through Matamata, make sure you stop for a burger, fish chips or even a milkshake. The quality and service is 100

We ordered a meal for five, and it arrived incredibly quickly—within 10 minutes! The fish was absolutely delicious. We had some leftover chips, which we put in the fridge, and when I took them out later, they were still tasty. The staff member was very friendly and always had a smile, and she didn't mind us paying with coins. I highly recommend this place!

I visited this restaurant after my Hobbiton tour and the hike up Wairere Falls, so I was quite hungry when I arrived. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the service was quick. I’ve been traveling in New Zealand for a month and a half now, and I can confidently say this is the best takeaway fish and chips I’ve had! The fish was huge and perfectly cooked, and there was a generous portion of chips. I’ve grown accustomed to smaller fish portions at takeaway places, but this one was bigger than my hand! I would definitely return if I find myself in Matamata again.

Double Ds has great food, love the huge burgers, Snapper is only fish I buy there's something bout there chips that makes themyum. Oh, and they have a variety of yummy desserts...Passionfruit Cheesecake our most favorite
