Buddy's Bbq - Maryville

It was pretty good! I tried the pulled chicken along with some sweet tea. I’ll definitely be returning!

We dined here for the first time, and the barbecue was outstanding! The food was served steaming hot. For dessert, we chose the hot fudge cake, and it was more than enough for two people. We really enjoyed our dining experience. We also appreciated seeing the staff diligently cleaning the tables and chairs, which was especially reassuring during COVID. We highly recommend this restaurant!

I can't say enough good things about this place, but I'll try my best. The young man at the counter was friendly and had a wonderful sense of humor. The staff was always on the move, passing out hush puppy samples and engaging in friendly conversations. I even saw the shift manager taking the initiative to clean and set the tables! How impressive is that? This restaurant showcases a strong work ethic and outstanding customer service that rivals high-end establishments, all at a much lower price. It really has a warm "home away from home" feel.

Although this is considered 'fast food,' I believe Buddy's BBQ surpasses other BBQ restaurants in town. There have been a few instances where we received a bag with mostly fatty or scrappy meat, but overall, their meat is consistently delicious, and the smoky flavor is outstanding. When my parents visit, we always make it a point to stop by.
