Creek Monkey Tap House - Martinez

One of the three most beautiful pasta dishes I've ever had. Embedded in a cool older residence that lasted a minute, I landed in a unique tap-house/gastroub/brewery in Martinez, California. The Pesto Pasta was loaded with huge shrimps, mushrooms and sun-dried tomatoes that were crushed in a creamy pesto sauce (yes, I know there is an app for it... My only complaint was that I had no bread or cracker to suck the remaining sauce... Solid tap list, warm, friendly staff informative regulars made this facility a rare find in my travels.

Had a great time! Nice beer selection, good food (get the onion rings... seriously) and a nice setting. Will be back for sure

The place is not very fancy but has a remarkable character. Food was good and service great.

Great little place and I’m happy it’s survived all the recent changes in Martínez. Always have a solid selection of beers on tap of California Classic Craft brews. Food is standard pub fair. Space is open and can get noisy during happy hour. The lunch hour isn’t as busy and a great time to grab a meal, beer and unwind.

Good service, great food. Large selection of beers. Pulled pork is very flavorful. Carne asada tacos come with an amazing sauce. Chicken strips have a great tasting breading
