Calvin Rockett's Grill - Marshalltown

Three stars with a 4th for the outside seat. The foods range from good to “meh”. So far the wings and the reubs are good, the chicken salad sandwich, the Swiss mushroom burger, and the Bruschetta are “meh”. A disadvantage is that they have Des Moines IPA from Confluence on Hahn!

Hands down, one of the best bars and grills! Delicious food and very attentive waitress. She brought refills without asked, sufficiently checked, but not persistent. We are all impressed, we will definitely be back!

I'm out of town and we had dinner here. It was amazing that everything we ordered was perfect!!! Grant, the owner came to our table and talked to us, everyone was polite great service, great food, great people!!! Next time I am in town I will add Calvin rockets with Maid Rite and Zeno’s to the list! Congratulations to the new baby!!

Good food! It was a popular place for lunch, but service and food were good. We didn't have to wait too long for food.

The food was fresh and delicious! Service was great, prompt, and welcoming! Always a must when I'm back in town!
