I had the mixed plate which I highly recommend. You get to try various different options: some salad, Aubergine with toasted almonds, the most delicious falafel with bread and Tahini and Koshari. I have been to Egypt before and the food here is authentic! Super welcoming and friendly Plus their coffee is great as well Look at the interior it’s so pretty, doesn’t feel like a food truck Can’t wait to go again
I’ve been craving Koshari since I first tried it in Cairo and along with many locals became one of my staple go-to meals while in town. The Koshari from Koshari Korner took me back to the streets of Cairo. A delicious and hearty meal of rice, pasta, lentils chickpeas in a tomato spicy sauce. Yum! #Veganuary
First time trying koshari light and tasty! However it was the falafel that impressed me. So fresh and fluffy with a crispy outside. Will be back to try their shakshuka and pretty much everything else. Sweet outdoor dining area too! The oat latte was disappointing, I'll suggest they switch brands if possible.
Came across this Egyptian Food stall at 901 Bourke Street many other vegan stalls. Wanted to try Arabic food. They had 4 dishes on offer $12.00 a wrap sold out at 8pm. The other three dishes $13.00 each served in takeaway cups different fillings with falafel. One had no tahini dressing, another no tomatoes was offered a salsa. My partner bought a pair of vegan shoes $135.00. So bit dissappointed we didn't eat. Came across Koshari at Marrickville Markets. Had a Koshari Bowl very nice had 2 falafel extra and a smoothie $23.00. Seems this place Koshari is home. If u are in Addison Road try their vegan food. Updated from previous review on 2018-04-25
Followed this place on Instagram for a while and finally made the trip here and man we were not let down. The felafal is some of the best I’ve ever had, the eggplant and koshari are mouthwatering and the sambousek is heavenly. The owner gave us free baklava afterwards and it was also amazing. And, to top it off, they have really good coffee too. I don’t leave many reviews but I was so impressed. Will def be back. Only thing stopping me from giving 5 is the carton of dairy milk beside the coffee machine
