The Bistro By One Smart Cookie

Stopped in today and all I can say is, “yum!” What a great experience! I have been stopping into The Bistro for years now while going to our many doctor’s appointments. Spotting lots of new faces behind the counter, but always greeted with a smile. The lunch special was incredible! I love how the food is consistently delicious! Keep up the excellent work!! The sugar cookies are and have always been amazing! I have battled parking in that hospital parking garage to get my hands on those cookies! ??? you won’t be disappointed!

It 's a little breakfast/lunch takeout (now) place inside West Jeff LCMC hospital in the lobby.I had an early appt., so I stopped for coffee and a sandwich.The coffee is good. I had a bacon, egg and cheese on wheat and a 12 oz grits.The sandwich is pretty good. They cut it in the box so I caught a little grease on my pants thru the slice in the box. The grits are ok . They do give you butter, salt, pepper, too.

Whenever I have an appointment at WJ I try to stop in and support small businesses of the WestBank like One Smart Cookie Cafe. The past few times the food has been less then desirable. This morning I went in and ordered a scrambled egg cheese sandwich on toast and a white mocha blended coffee. The cashier didn 't seem to be in the best of moods. She asked if I wanted it dressed? I said no, just buttered thanks. She said aggressively I 'm talking about your coffee.. Whip cream and all the toppings? Ummm yes please.. ?? ‍ huh? lol. I paid. Put tip money in the jar. Poor lady in front of me, gets her food and asks for the two shoe soles she paid for and she gets yelled at I 'M GETTING THEM NOW! Lawd, let me just get my food and get on my way... she hands me a dark mocha drink with my food and I question her about it not being white mocha and immediately she gets defensive WE DON 'T HAVE WHITE MOCHA! I 'm confused your menu says white chocolate? Yes. You ordered white mocha, we don 't have that. I said mocha is chocolate. When ordering if you would 've said something we could 've clear this up. So she snatched the coffee up and goes into the back (behind the curtain and the open window) I said can you just please bring my drink back so I can leave!?? No answer... then I hear talking and then the blender. After about 5 minutes she comes back with a white blended mocha and hands it to me. I said I wanted you just to bring it back, oh well I couldn 't hear you in the back... funny I can hear you but you couldn 't hear me!??? I wanted a refund because once she disappeared with my drink and made it herself, there was NO WAY I was going to drink it! LEARN YOUR MENU BEFORE YOU DECIDE TO GET NASTY WITH THE CUSTOMERS!

Amazing! Food is delicious, staff is always friendly, and atmosphere is comfortable! Feels like home! :

Kind, friendly and quick service.I love their chicken salad croissants, everytime I go to the hospital I stop there for one. Definitely recommend it ?
