The Delft Bistro - Marquette

Awesome food, their food is exquisite. Vegetarian options and the beer the best I’ve ever had

I ordered the Burrata, Beets Neapolitan, and Pesto Pappardelle with salmon on top. Every dish was delicious, especially the perfectly cooked salmon which elevated the pasta. The drinks were unique and tasty. The restaurant's atmosphere, resembling an old movie theater, was intriguing, but the downstairs seating area was quite loud due to poor acoustics.

The Delft Bistro is typically a fantastic dining experience, but unfortunately, our visit last night was not up to par. While the cheese curds and beef burger on the slider trio were delicious, the pork slider was dry and lacking sauce, and the falafel slider was also dry and uneaten. The usually excellent brussels sprouts were disappointing, and several menu items we had enjoyed in the past were missing. While we understand menu adjustments due to Covid-19, the poor kitchen preparation was concerning. Despite this disappointing experience, we would still recommend The Delft Bistro, assuming that last night was just a one-time issue.

Food was great, kitchen could accommodate food sensitivities and weight loss surgery requests which was fantastic. Atmosphere was fun but I would've suggested lowering the lighting a smidge and and adding interesting lights at tables. Noise was loud partly due to the vaulted ceilings, and open kitchen/floor layout. They weren't taking walk ins the 3 days I was in town, and reservations were needed to get a table. Price was in line with quality of food. Fried chicken Falafel dishes were outstanding!
