Maroubra Charcoal Chickens

We go here at least twice a month. We get the family pack for $25 including a large BBQ chicken, large salad of choice and large chips. The chicken is delicious. They also do great lunch specials. Their hamburgers are yum too and sell yummy home made rice pudding. The family that run this place are very friendly and offer great service.

Long befor the 'Golden Arches' and 'Colonel Sanders' the suburbs were lined with fish&chip and chicken takeaways. Some remain and this is a good one. Hot, fresh, tasty and low-cost. Right at the southbound bus stop opposite 'Pacific Square' in downtown Maroubra Junction is the award-winning 'Maroubra Charcoal Chicken' - had their $7 Maroubra roll which hit the lunchtime spot for me today.

Classic charcoal chicken shop Epic combo deals This is the best place in the area to get a chicken burger.

I suppose it's your standard charcoal chicken store, with the chicken and the salads and the combos and the various menu items and the like.

They've jacked up prices along with the other chicken shops around here, $9.50 half/$16 whole, but that's still about the cheapest in the east and it's definitely the best charcoal chicken that I've found around here, a little chewy but mostly juicy with a great charcoal flavour, although also very salty.
