Ordered take out on New Years Eve after our usual place told us they weren’t accepting any more orders for the night. The food was delicious and the delivery was quick! But best of all, the customer service was impeccable and so accommodating !!!!! You have won us over China House! We will definitely be ordering again!!!!!

We had a carry out dinner from Chinese House. Of the many dishes we ordered Cantonese Chow Mein, House Fried Rice, Shrimp Egg Foo Young, Gai Pan, Vegetable chop Shui, and Chicken meatballs the egg foo young was the best. Not a bad carry out, and they do provide soy sauce if you need more flavor.

Had a take out order from here. Good Chinese food, not great. Sweet and Sour sauce really had no taste. Good qualify food however. Decor straight out of the 70's. Nice, friendly staff.

First of all that pic is not of the China House. I have tried every chinese restaurant in the city over my 30 years here. China house is hands down the best tasting and pricing is excellent. From the outside it doesnt look like much but i recommend you give it a shot and you will be pleasantly surprised how good the food is

For take out this place is great, price is good, food is good, friendly older couple cooking, authentic chinese canadian comfort food. Would't recommend sitting in the restaurant given it's a basement setting , little natural light, small and overcrowded with stuff, but take out is good
