Absolutely outstanding. Went with a beef pasty and it was excellent. Great service and views too. Was able to watch a ship enter the lock as I ate dinner.

I enjoyed the unique starter with its unorthodox serving style, I also enjoyed the entree most of all which was perfectly proportioned and delivered an amazing burst of great flavor. At last the dessert which was just as fantastic and perfect providing rich taste and just right hints of other flavors. Overall, this restaurant is a must go and definitely is not there to waste your time. I highly recommend it!

On the food: 5 stars. Fantastic everything. The salmon cake salad was delicious. Great flavoring in the cakes which stood alone, but add fresh greens and veggies with the vinaigrette, and wow. Perfect. The Reuben was done differently in that the corned beef was one thick slice that literally melted in your mouth. The sauce wasn't overpowering so you could taste the beef. Perfectly grilled bread too.

Delicious food and charming atmosphere!! Had a fresh fish dish with peppercorn cream sauce. First time in the UP and made us feel very welcome
