The Coffee Nook - Mansfield

Seriously the best beef burger I've ever had, that special sauce is ridiculous. Always friendly service and a very smooth brew. Love this place!

The Coffee Nook has been a place I've been meaning to come since early last year. Like their trade name, the cafe is situated on the corner of a commercial building. (Plenty of street parking available!) ???????? The menu here is simple and concise. But honestly, I wouldn't have realised there was a menu till I was about to leave the place. Prior to my visit, I checked out their Instagram (cause you know all them attractive food photos are there! ☝???? ) The Ruben Sandwich posted recently looked so good, it literally made my mouth water. Fingers-crossed I was hoping it'd be available today! As I arrived at the cafe, my eyes were drawn towards the glass cabinet next to the counter, showcasing all their gourmet goods including Toasties, Breakfast Burgers, Salads, Sweets and more. There I see, the Ruben Sandwich sitting there waiting for me. I instantly ordered one of those and my usual Flat White. Coffee: Served hot and smooth but the brew wasn't very strong.  Savoury: The perfectly toasted Ruben Sandwich consisted of Pulled Corn Beef, Swiss Cheese, Pickles, Kraut and Russian Dressing on Rye Vienna. The shredded pulled corn beef contained a nice meaty flavour. The pickles were crunchy and with the help of the melted swiss cheese, it masked the pickle scent well. The Russian dressing pulled everything together wonderfully. Overall delightful! Sweet: The Triple Choc Brownie was moist and had pieces of walnuts throughout. I'm not a huge chocolate person, but this was surprisingly nice. The brownie wasn't too rich and went well with my cuppa (my second cup).  Look forward to my next visit here! Best coffee in South Brisbane. Easy & convenient text your order option, wonderful service and delicious TA food options. I am a big fan of the Mini Apple Cinnamon Muffins, Vegetable Halloumi SW & the Chicken Salad Cups!

Love to see someone offers the opportunity for amateur cooks hiring not only the commercial kitchen but also the venue and storage to practice their cooking skills. In addition, extension of the office to spare a little nook for take-away coffee and gourmet food is marvelous idea. Baristas are so friendly and proficiency. I guarantee that you must enjoy the vibe if you take a seat watching people coming for their coffee orders.
