Przekaż informację zwrotnąWe ate lunch here and the wait time was substantial however the food was good. Dissatisfied with the wine list and the recommended wine resulting in a Rose when we asked for something similar to a Chardonnay..,only came in a bottle and after we had the bottle delivered and realised that the wine was quite sweet, the manager declined to only give us a glass of each. Nevertheless they were polite enough about it.Secondly we asked specifically for a Chardonnay and we then had a glass of Sparkling Chardonnay served...fail again When we spoke to the owner and suggested that the descriptions on the wine needed to be more, we received a reply like 'oh well we are more like a coffee house'That Is ok but don't serve wine if you are not sure what you are serving I will return if nothing else is open in the area It's all about the attitude
Hubby and I stopped in for a coffee to fill in some time. Enjoyed a good full bodied brew and chat. The cafe is easy to find with street front parking in a shopping strip close to a school. Inside see some 'old school' memorabilia as fittings, someone has had some fun repurposing! Will keep this Cafe on our list to come back to for a feed, we're eyeing off dishes on both the breakfast and lunch menu.
Disappointing. Ordered our drinks and meals at 12:10pm. There were about 2 people inside the cafe, and another table of 2 arrived after us. Drinks order was taken. We ordered skinny capp, two fizzy drinks and one MUG of hot chocolate. The hot chocolate came in a latte glass. It was replaced with a mug. Four meals ordered 12:10pm. At 12:35pm I went inside and asked how long our meals would be as our son had an interview at 1.00pm. Both waitresses looked towards the kitchen and walked off and mumbed something. Nothing was said, to me, and I was left standing there. I went back to our table and then asked my husband (a few minutes later) to ask where the meals were. He was gone a few minutes to be told "your burger will be in a doggy bag". My husband's meal and my meal arrived about 12:45 and my son's burger a few minutes later. By 12:50 the last meal for our other son arrived. No apology was given. No discount was given or offered. Won't be going back again. Poor service. Food was ok. My husband had the crisp polenta tart. It was smothered to fill the top with a mayo or something and it was no thicker than a biscuit. My meal of lamb had about 5-6 small pieces. Won't be going back again. Expensive for what you get and considering this was a special occasion, just makes it feel even worse.A major improvement could have been an apology for the delay. Terrible service given it was not busy in the cafe. Staff need to be skilled in dealing with their customers.
Great little hole in the wall for a quick bite and a meet up with a friend. Sit outside on the footpath under an umbrella, you can bring your dog or sit inside at the quirky tables.. nice range of food prepared on the premises, with a few kids friendly options as well.
Its hard to find a place that is entertaining for the kids when you want to go out for lunch, but this place works! The play area is great. The food is good and the coffee is just right.Unfortunately on the last visit our toasted sandwiches were burnt and a little too fat for the kids to eat. And the service is generally friendly, but I've had a few more challenging visits of late.
