Visited Cafe Go after a hike on Queen's Birthday Weekend. Found one staff member exceptionally rude. Not having been there before, i was unaware a soft toy was given to identify table numbers. After ordering and paying at the counter this particular staff member made no effort to inform me of their soft toy system. We sat down and about 5 minutes later was confronted by that same staff member who, in a reprimanding tone, asked us where our toy was. I was dumbfounded at first but looking around at other tables started to understand their system. I told her politely we didn't know we were to collect a toy to which she replied "i would have given you a toy" quite rudely. While rolling her eyes and she abruptly turned around, mumbled something and walked off. At this point in time another staff member noticed the encounter. This second staff member brought us our coffee and told us not to worry she would fix it. We thank her for her courtesy. Minutes later, the rude staff member walked up to our table, held the soft toy at her eye level and dropped it straight down into the middle of our conversation. In a churlish manner, she then proceeded to turn and walk off. We were left incredulous. We immediately spoke of leaving the premise. I am not one for writing reviews normally, however i have never encountered such rudeness dining out. For this reason i write this review. Being polite and humble adds so much to the experience. This particular staff member unfortunately discredits Cafe Go and herself.

Service: - All employees were friendly, Grief Good and drinks: - Ordered a dirty chai and nasigoreng - food sections are generous and - Coffee was good Grief General Feeling: - Table numbers are stuffed toy, which is a sweet idea, - a bit cool, so it would be preferred if the fireplace on - Simple and picturesque cafe - A but firmly with respect to the setting in the dining area, but the outside is beautiful (was too cold to sit outside)
Hello! We will go for some time and recommend it. Great to lose a fresh salad or sandwich between the appointments during the day. We were also here for breakfast, which is just as good at the weekend, which sit the back. The place and the staff could be considered a little alternative, but it is well tuned and the service is great. Nice when the open fire is running in winter, but it fills up due to small limited seating, lots of seats outside. Average cost of a trendy cafe in Geelong.
