Fishbar Manhattan Beach

We had excellent service during our visit. My partner and I really enjoyed the mussels. The sourdough bread was warm and perfectly toasted. Overall, our dining experience was fantastic, and we can't wait to return soon.

The chowder was one of the best I've ever had. We ordered the tempura squid with the dipping sauce, and it was outstanding. My wife had the mahi-mahi, which was the largest piece of fish we've ever seen—she couldn't finish it! I ordered the ginger soy glaze, and it was incredibly delicious. We were so full that we had no room for dessert.

The courses were served with long intervals in between, indicating a lack of sufficient staff. It seemed like someone had accidentally dropped salt into the ice cream, as we had to return our drinks multiple times, ultimately giving up in frustration. Overall, it was a rather disappointing dining experience.

Terrible service. Our drinks arrived after we had actually finished our meal. They got our food order wrong. They didn’t get our drink orders right. Never brought us water. I don’t think you could have done anything more wrong and no acknowledgment that the orders were messed up in every aspect. It was almost comical how bad the service was In addition food was mediocre despite my asking server what was good. Crazy bad!!
