We were intrigued by the idea of paying 8p per minute, which seemed very affordable, and decided to give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised by the concept of being able to help ourselves to drinks, cakes, cookies, and even muesli/toast. It was a great place to chill out for an hour and well worth the money. We will definitely be returning!
I recently visited Ziferblat for the first time this afternoon and despite the price going up to 6p per minute, I had a great experience. It reminded me of visiting my grandmother's house on a rainy Saturday afternoon to play board games, with refreshments offered every 10 minutes. The cozy atmosphere was not as hipster-filled as I expected, but instead had polite and respectful people. My friend and I enjoyed a game of Scrabble (which I won), along with coffee, müsli, and yogurt for an hour and a half. I would love to visit again, even though time seems to pass quickly at this charming little place.
I was skeptical before visiting Ziferblat, wondering if it was just another gimmicky place. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the concept - you pay 5p per minute for access to everything in their spacious lounge including cake, coffee, tea, games, Wi-Fi, guitars, and more. It's a unique experience where you feel like a micro-tenant instead of just a customer. The atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming, making you feel at home. Ziferblat manages to create a playful environment where you can truly relax and have a good time.
This place is a treat to me on my irregular visits to Manchester, and I was quite surprised to find it very quiet. Normally it is heaving at lunch time. Great food, coffee and staff. A perfect place to sit and fill one's journal and...write a couple of letters. There is a large screen TV in there now, which somewhat spoils the escape ethos it used to have, and makes it less likely to strike up conversations with strangers. However, if that is what the market demands, I guess I'll just have to adapt.
It's everything you could want. Lovely staff, great food, comfy chairs. I could go on and on. Shall be back very soon.
